Day 6 - Sea Birds

Sea birds bobbing on stormy waters.
Suddenly they take flight,
their little wings working as if 
their lives depended on it.
Which it probably does.

Beautiful! I always have noticed the fragility of birds. Love your note of contrast between them and the sea. Funny coincidence, I wrote about birds for my first small stone. Have a wonderful weekend!!

I often wonder at how such seemingly fragile creatures can fling themselves aloft and ride the currents. Is it as thrilling for them as it is for us to watch them?
