January has come around again,

in their Mindful Writing Challenge, 

which is to write a Small Stone 

every day of the month.

daylight transitions into darkness
by overcast tones of gray.
If I didn't know the exact time of sunset,
there would be no way of knowing.
Inside, I light candles, one by one.
